ITES-2S
ITES – 2S was established by ITEC4 and PM CHESS for the benefit of the entire federal government. It is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a $20B ceiling and a period of performance that runs from December 20, 2006 through April 13, 2015. The scope of work allows for unclassified through Top Secret SCI work with worldwide performance and delivery (both on & off site) permitted. It is designed to cover a wide range of information technology work. The scope includes the below types of activities:
- Business process reengineering
- Information systems security
- Information assurance
- Information technology service
- Software development
- Enterprise design, integration and consolidation
- Education and training
- Program/Project management
- Systems operation and maintenance
- Network support
Each government customer establishes their own ordering account and the customer and their organic contracting support control the entire acquisition process. In addition, there is no government usage fee for this vehicle. Awards take only as long as the organic contracting office takes to complete the necessary proposal form within the ITES−2S system. Contracting officers can select the specific vendors to receive the RFP as well.
** NEW AWARD ** SSES Nexgen
This contract will support the CECOM Command Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) Software Engineering Center (SEC) to perform its life cycle software engineering and support mission and to assist in achieving SEC’s vision of being recognized as the Center of Excellence for providing software solutions and services within the Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) community, across the Department of Defense, and potentially civilian agencies.
The specific details of period of performance and ordering process are still in the negotiation stage.
RPTI
Rapid Prototyping and Technology Initiative, RPTI, is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract established to increase Armament, Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) responsiveness in meeting its customer’s immediate requirements. RPTI provides a responsive contracting vehicle to meet the war fighter’s immediate field requirements to counter the ever−changing threats on the battlefield. ARDEC will depend on the RPTI contract vehicle to maintain momentum on key Army munitions, lethality and counter−lethality and capabilities, and fielding solutions. The RPTI contract has competitive acquisition intended for a multiple award IDIQ, Cost Plus Fixed Fee/Firm Fixed Price Contract, with a ceiling of $300 million as well as a Period of Performance of five years. Included in the scope of RPTI is fabrication, refurbishment, prototyping, engineering and ammunition procurement.
R23G
Rapid Response – 3rd Generation, R2−3G, is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract established by the Army’s Communications−Electronics Life Cycle Management Command specializing in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance support (C4ISR.) It is available to the U.S. Army and other federal customers for the next ten years. The R2−3G scope includes a full range of services including systems engineering, integration, research, development, studies, analysis, test, evaluation and logistics support.
Encore II SB
The DISA Encore II SB contract is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract providing technical solutions for the Department of Defense (DoD) in support of its migration to an integrated and interoperable Global Information Grid (GIG), as well as other federal agencies having similar Information Technologies migration and integration needs. The Period of Performance includes a five year base period and five one−year options and allows for government agencies to issues tasks as SB set−asides to meet SB contracting goals.
AESIP-I
Army Enterprise System Integration Program, AESIP, is a performance based, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract established by the Department of the Army. It is available to the Army and other federal agencies to obtain IT services, and solutions for the years ahead. The AESIP I scope includes a full range of services and solutions required to fulfil the Army’s Information Technology (IT) services worldwide. Included in the scope of AESIP I is business process automation, applications development, organizational transition, applications testing, operations, maintenance, sustainment and knowledge transfer services.
Navy SeaPort E
SeaPort e is the Navy’s electronic platform for acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. The Navy Systems Commands (NAVSEA, NAVAIR, SPAWAR, NAVFAC, and NAVSUP), the Office of Naval Research, the United States Marine Corps, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) compete their service requirements amongst 1800+ SeaPort e IDIQ multiple award contract holders. The SeaPort e portal provides a standardized, efficient means of soliciting offers from amongst the diverse population of large and small businesses and their approved team members. All task orders are competitively solicited, awarded and managed using the SeaPort e platform. Since nearly 85% of its contract-holders are small businesses, the SeaPort e approach to acquiring services provides opportunity that fuels the Nation’s engine of job growth.
